A quick walk in great late summer weather.

Turn off the main road from saltash to callington just below Rylands just south of Callington. Park at Ashton Barton, take the footpath through the gate in the farmyard and walk through the meadow. Exit the field and not quite opposite go through the stile in the hedge and walk through  more lovely fields behind Coombe Park towards West Brendon- the footpath out of the field is there, persist!Turn left up the hill, at the crossroads go t over the stile in the hedge across the fields (well marked) and drop down into the green dotted llane, turn left and head back to Ashton
