Not a success…
Threatening skies and intermittent annoyingly short bursts of heavy rain
Linkinhorne to Patrieda Barton - so far so good. After Patrieda Barton I could not find the footpath and ended up negotiating deep plodge and stream. I was probably trespassing , fed up and covered with burrs. I eventually walked up the hill to Kersbrook Cross along the brown road and took the first right back to where I had parked.
The countryside round Patrieda Barton is delightful, simply not well marked.
