Start at 3577 (Treburley), take the westward lane past Folly and left down the lane to Pengloss Cottage, left again, back to Treburley, through the village to Rezare, right and right again back to Treburely.

This was a satisfying Sunday morning stride when time was a little short.

Birds: few and far between

Flowers:hedgerows looking a little sad by this time.

Small joys: the well at the hamlet of Rezare. A local person told me that the crosses on the well were placed there following a tragedy. Legend has it that one sister killed the other ( by accident or malice we shall never know). Their father, a local farmer placed the 2 crosses on the well in their memory.Looking closely the crosses do look as if they are later than the rest of the stonework
